Can a beginner start Vela without knowing Hangul?

Yes. The Korean path begins with the writing system, pronunciation foundations, and beginner communication. Learners with prior study can use placement and level checks to find a more appropriate starting point.

Does Vela include Korean speaking practice?

Yes. Speaking is part of the connected course alongside listening, reading, typing, sentence building, and review. An app can create frequent guided production, but live conversation and individual teacher correction remain valuable additions.

Is Vela a TOPIK preparation app?

Vela includes structured Korean foundations and exam-prep features that can support TOPIK study, but it does not issue TOPIK scores. Use official TOPIK materials for current test format and score preparation.

Is Vela affiliated with a Korean Language Institute?
